2016 Winterville Marigold Festival

The Winterville Marigold Festival Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Open to business, civic and church organizations, schools, families or individuals, music or talent groups.

Line up time will occur as follows:

Check in time begins at 7:30 a.m. Positions are given as participants arrive with discretion of the parade committee. All participants must be checked in by 9:30 a.m. and in their designated position to participate in the parade.

Line Up Location:

Winterville First Baptist Church parking lot

Parade Start Time: 10 a.m.

Parade Route: 1 mile

Please note the following:

• You must check in with Festival Staff upon arrival in the Winterville First Baptist Church Parking Lot.  You will be given your position number and directed to the lineup location.
• Floats, tractors, and other vehicles that need to arrive early may line up starting at 7:30 am. One person, with the ability to move your float or vehicle, must remain with the unit at all times.
• Bands, twirlers, flags, walking units: once you are in the parade line up, you must stay with your group!
• The blowing of horns, whistles, or sirens before the parade begins is strictly prohibited.
• Map of parade route, drop off location, and parking areas will be distributed a few weeks prior to the Festival.
