JULY 4-STAR SPANGLED SALUTE – Parade begins at 9:00 followed with fun, food, entertainment, vendors, concessions, and lots of other activities throughout the day. To be in the parade, call City Hall (706-788-2311); to have a vendor booth or concession, call Jenny Mason (706-255-7053). BBQ and stew plates cooked and served by Colbert Baptist Church $9/plate. Mayor Chris Peck and Danny Anthony will be hosts this year and great live entertainment all afternoon by Danny Anthony, the BaCuPs, Conner Tribble, Emily and Deena Parham and others. Horseshoe pitching contests begin at 11:00. Join us for a fun-filled day of celebration at Colbert’s 46th Annual Independence Day Celebration.
